Mp5 ::
MP5 is a pretty decent SMG in Free Fire. While it doesn't have the speed of the MP40 or the damage of the UMP... it stats are perfectly placed in the middle of the pack. Overall, this gun is pretty versatile and would not let you down if you are going to use an SMG. In this article, we would list out the top 5 strongest MP5 skins in the game. The Pink Barrage is at the bottom of the list, in both the look and the bonus department. The pink color is too hard to notice on the gun... as it only covered the body and the top of the weapon while leaving the bottom bare. This is exactly what a gun like the MP5 needs- as it already has a high attack speed. MP40 is a Submachine Gun with SMG Ammo. The weapon have a damage of 48 with a high accuracy and a Close range. The weapon has also an insane rate of fire which make it one of the fastest weapons in the game.MP40 is a sub-machine gun that can be commonly found in Free fire. Famous for being used by pros and hackers in Free Fire.

The MP40 (German: Maschinenpistole 40, English: Machine Pistol 40) is an open-bolt, blowback-operated submachine gun chambered in the 9×19mm cartridge. It was designed in 1938 by Heinrich Vollmer and was based on the earlier MP38. The MP40 was designed to be more cheaper than the MP38, using stamped metal parts rather than machined ones.

It saw extensive use by the Axis Powers and its allies in the European theater during the Second World War. From 1940 to 1945, an estimated 1.1 million MP40s and its variants were produced. Performance It deals modest damage, has the highest rate of fire and a noticeable recoil. It's very commonly found inside houses and pretty much elsewhere. DAMAGE=59 Bodyshot Headshot=149

Due to its high rate of fire, it can be used effectively at close range fight. But its low magazine size have to be considered. The MP40 has the least amount of accuracy compared to all SMG in the game, probably because it is a relic from the past. Although the MP40 is deadly at close range fight, It is still very recommended to back away from shotgun users at close range. The lack of attachment options hampers the performance of this sub-machine gun when compared to other SMGs like the MP5 or the UMP.

1)Crazy Bunny MP40

This is one of the most popular MP40 gun skins chosen by Free Fire gamers because of its cool look. The skin provides twice the damage rate that the gun can inflict, which makes it a good choice for short-to-medium range combats. However, the magazine capacity is reduced.

2)Mechanical MP40

Performance:-
A internally suppressed weapon, this sub-machine gun has a moderate fire rate, decent damage and light recoil, but it has a small magazine and lacks a lot of attachment choices, despite coming with a silencer, foregrip, and a scope.

Trivia:-
The VSS Vintorez is actually a Designated-Marksman rifle, not a sub-machine gun.


UMP:

UMP is an Submachine Gun with SMG Ammo. UMP have a high accuracy which make it a stable weapon. The weapon has a damage of 48 and a fast rate of fire. The weapon is good for Medium range.

History
The UMP (Universale MaschinenPistole or "Universal Machine Pistol") is a blowback-operated submachine gun designed in 1990 and produced in 1999 by Heckler & Koch. The UMP was designed as a successor to H&K's older MP5.
The UMP45 variant is chambered in the .45 ACP cartridge and is fed by 25-round box magazines. There are also variants chambered in 9×19mm and .40 S&W, which are the UMP 9 and UMP 40 respectively, and they both use 30-round magazines. The UMP has been adopted by several special military organizations; including U.S Customs and Border Protection, the Royal Thai Navy SEALs and the Jordanian Special Operations Forces. Performance The UMP has a very fast fire rate and deals more damage than its sister, the MP5, but it is the recoil that prevents it to be used efficiently at long-range engagements.

In close quarters it can performs quite well, able to down a player and kill with ease, shredding through their HP with its sheer fire rate.
 It is to be noted that the UMP has the second highest fire in Free Fire, number one being the MP40. UMP in Free Fire shows a straight looking magazines indicating that it is the .45 ACP version of the UMP.

Conclusion
It is very good especially at close range due to its high rate of fire and high damage. The UMP can be considered as an alternative to the MP40 at close range engagements.

 

P90 :

P90 is a Submachine Gun with SMG Ammo. P90 has a large magazine with 50 Ammo. The weapon has also a damage of 48 and a fast rate of fire. The weapon has also a good accuracy and a Medium Range. The P90 is quite average among all SMGs with mediocre damage and a slightly better rate of fire. The only thing that stands out from this gun is the huge magazine capacity with 50 bullets, which is quite unnecessary. The effective range of the P90 is actually quite bad compare to many other SMGs. It only has a slightly better range than the MP40 but the MP40 has huge damage output to compensate. As for attachments, the P90 gun in Free Fire can only attach a Scope and a Magazine. You cannot use a Foregrip or a Muzzle, which means you cannot increase the stability of this gun. Meanwhile, the Magazin attachment and the Scope attachment are kind of useless because the P90 has a huge magazine already and a very low effective range.

The P90 has a lot of different skins that can improve its power. With a good P90 skin that buffs the rate of fire or damage, the weapon can be stronger than an SMG that you don't have skin for.

THOMPSON :

Thompson is a Submachine Gun with SMG Ammo. Thompson has a damage of 50 and a medium to close range. It also has a medium accuracy and a very high rate of fire. The weapon also has a big magazine.
